Let's kick
things off!
Take your game to the next level with hands-on training sessions built around your player profile.
Meet the Coach
My name is Zach Goldman and I attend Syracuse University as a Sport Management major. I played soccer at an academy level for TSF, Cedar Stars, and Stallions before reaching the Pascack Hills Varsity team as a freshman. Now, as an upperclassmen at SU, I study SPM and Nutrition to further my knowledge in the field.
I work with the Football Program as their Performance Analyst for practices, walkthroughs, and lifts, and I also run their Mentorship Program. Additionally, I am the Exercise Science Officer for the Orange Barbell club, have my NASM certifications in Personal Training & Nutrition, hold my US Soccer Grassroots verification, and have overall elevated my performance and impact in major ways.

The Reality:
Athletes who don't begin intensive training early will fall behind. Some athletes start out at a few minutes of soccer a week while there are players progressing much faster due to an increase in repetitions. Research finds that, on average, each additional year of proper, intense training correlates with improvements in passing accuracy, speed, and reaction time:
"The passing accuracy, speed and reactiveness of players improved by 4 cm, 2.3 km/h and 30 milliseconds per year of age” (Hicheur et al.).
Untrained players often do not realize these natural gains and fall farther behind. My job is to make sure that this doesn't happen.
Discipline
Instilling basic disciplines of ownership and accountability which will pay dividends as athletes grow into adulthood
Conditioning
Improving endurance for games which are based around explosive & long distance abilities
Ball Skills
Becoming a master of control: skills, passing, shooting, and comfortability on the ball
Game IQ
Understanding movements of players, the flow of the game, and the importance of defending and attacking in different scenarios
Teamwork
Knowing how to balance self-confidence with team success, as well as growing communication and support skills
Confidence
Building a monster inside each athlete that is confident in their ability to overcome obstacles such as fear, anxiety, and failing.
My training impact
My work is centered around molding the youth; I will push each athlete as close to their limit as possible. By breaking down bad habits and an unwilling attitude we are able to build a player who carries themselves proudly. The internal comes first before the external, if we can change the way each kid approaches training and hard work they will not only find success on the field but in their work.
The best players aren't the ones with the most natural talent, they are the ones who push themselves and learn to trust the process of being great. As your coach, I'm asking you to trust me and to take the required leap to reach the next level.
Take the next step.
Waiting around doesn't translate to results, the athletes who get get out on the field and work are the ones who reap the benefits. The only way to reach your dreams is by believing in them.
